The Becker Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They secured a 69-64 W over St. Francis. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Becker to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyan Blomquist, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Weiss, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and three steals.
Becker's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for St. Francis, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Becker will be playing at home against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Minnesota (North Branch is ranked 188th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 195th). As for St. Francis, they will head out on the road to take on the Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Zimmerman has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 212 points over their last three contests.
