Tehachapi is 2-8 against the Vikings since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tehachapi Warriors will be playing at home against the West Vikings at 6:30 p.m.
Last Thursday, Tehachapi was beaten by the Stars 75-36. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tehachapi in their matchups with the Stars: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, West's game on Thursday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Golden Valley by a score of 59-47. The win was just what West needed coming off of a 67-33 defeat in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West to victory, but perhaps none more so than Fred Stokes, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 18 rebounds. Jacob Miller was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Tehachapi has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season. As for West, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
Tehachapi couldn't quite finish off the Vikings when the teams last played back in January and fell 58-56. Will Tehachapi have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
