North Fort Myers had a rough outing against Fort Myers last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. North Fort Myers managed a somewhat close 15-10 victory over Palmetto Ridge.
No one put up better numbers for North Fort Myers than senior Shomari Mason, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 86 yards on the ground and caught passes for 65 yards. Senior Johnathan Charles was in the mix, too, providing North Fort Myers with 2 touchdowns.
The win bumped North Fort Myers' record up to 1-2. The defeat dropped Palmetto Ridge's record to 0-2.
North Fort Myers will stay at home next week against Island Coast at 7:30 PM. As for Palmetto Ridge, they will face off against Estero.
