After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oasis Christian, The Geneva Classical Academy Knights were happy to have found some success on Friday. They strolled past Gainesville Christian Community with points to spare, taking the game 51-34. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Geneva Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Clay Lindsay, who threw for 320 yards and six touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Poe Stirk, who picked up 245 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Geneva Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Gainesville Christian Community, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
