Giddings Lonestar Southeast scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt an 81-36 defeat at the hands of the First Baptist Christian Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Warriors are ranked 17th).

Giddings Lonestar Southeast is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7. As for First Baptist Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Giddings Lonestar Southeast and First Baptist Christian will both be playing Logos Prep Academy the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
