The West Nassau Warriors can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 57-26 win over Trinity Christian Academy. The win was just what West Nassau needed coming off of a 50-28 defeat in their prior matchup.
Abagail Bailey was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points. Another player making a difference was Tru Armstrong, who scored 12 points.
West Nassau's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Nassau will take on Clay at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Clay's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so West Nassau's offense will have their work cut out for West Nassau. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Global Outreach Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
