Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cape Henry Collegiate). They breezed by the Life Christian Academy Eagles to the tune of 78-30 on Monday. Given the Dolphins' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Eagles are ranked 340th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the defeat, Life Christian Academy had strong showings from Clarence Harris, who posted 17 points and three blocks, and Travis Holloman, who went 5 for 9 en route to 10 points. Harris' evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Cape Henry Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Life Christian Academy, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Cape Henry Collegiate didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 73-48 win against Walsingham Academy on the 14th. Life Christian Academy has also already played their next game, an 88-54 loss against TPLS Christian Academy on the 14th.
