Capital was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Sandia Matadors, falling  3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the  3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  on October 10th.
 Capital was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Sandia work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 30-28,  25-16.
  Leanne Romero was nothing short of spectacular for Sandia: she  had 13  digs and two  aces. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jayla Lacey, who  had 11  digs.
 Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Sandia, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record  this season.
 Capital will head out to  face off against La Cueva  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. La Cueva is coming into the  game with four straight  wins at home,  so Capital will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum. As for Sandia, they will host Manzano  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Sandia is facing Manzano at the right time seeing as Manzano is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
