Cy-Fair posted their closest victory since May 25, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Stratford Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-1 last Tuesday.

Cy-Fair has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Stratford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-9.

Looking ahead, Cy-Fair will venture away from home to take on Cypress Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stratford, they will welcome Katy Taylor at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
