Their defense stepped up to hand the Black Raiders  a   3-0 shutout. Considering Spencer have won 13 contests by more than two  goals this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Unity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Spencer, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
 Unity Christian might still be hurting after the  8-1 loss they got from Spencer  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
