With a playoff game on the line, the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Spartans as they made off with a 7-1 win. Considering Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Their offense was hitting Gilbert Classical Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.
The win was the sixth in a row for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 14-4-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those six matchups. As for Gilbert Classical Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-4.
