The team also got some help courtesy of  Tyler Cage, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Dimond's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Chugiak, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3-1.
 Dimond will head out on the road to  square off against  Bettye Davis East Anchorage at 6:45  p.m.  on Monday. Bettye Davis East Anchorage is coming into the  contest with three straight  losses at home,  meaning Dimond will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  victory. Chugiak will take on Service at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams will come into the  matchup having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes.
