Meanwhile, Kenedy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. The contest between Kenedy and Lytle wasn't particularly close, with Kenedy falling 63-45. While losing is never fun, Kenedy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1244th, while Lytle is ranked 350th).
Karnes City has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Kenedy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
