After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Perry, McKinley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the East Dragons with a sharp 20-1 victory. With that win, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Hailey Smith made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Smith was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with six RBI, two doubles, and one run.
