The NC GBB Academy National Eagles are on the road again on Saturday and plays the Lab University Prep Lab Rats on February 3rd. NC GBB Academy National knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine contests -- so hopefully the Lab Rats likes a good challenge.
NC GBB Academy National scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Sunday. They came out on top against Blue Ridge by a score of 87-77. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, Lab University Prep waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They took down Charlotte Elite Academy 83-68. That's two games straight that Lab University Prep has won by exactly 15 points.
DeMarco Reynolds was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points. He hasn't dropped below 16 points for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Kevin Crockett, who scored 12 points.
NC GBB Academy National has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Lab University Prep, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.
