The Laramie Plainsmen had to endure a nine-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 19-3 victory over South on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Laramie also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Laramie to victory, but perhaps none more so than Fisher Frude, who threw for 129 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes. Max Alexander did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 96 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Laramie's victory bumped their record up to 1-8. As for South, their loss was their 18th straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9.
Laramie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South is also done with their season.
