The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Manassas Park in their matchups with Osbourn: they've now lost six in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Osbourn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Irieanna Smoot, who scored 21 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Smoot has scored at least 25% of Osbourn's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhyannon Stanley, who scored 9 points along with 11 rebounds.
Manassas Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Osbourn, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
