Christ Prep Academy won against North Platte on Tuesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy Junior Ravens. The victory was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on four straight.
Josh Eddy made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Eddy was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.
In other batting news, Cade Elder was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Asa Geis was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Christ Prep Academy picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-2.
