The Bay Path RVT Minutemen will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Greater New Bedford RVT Bears at 6:00 p.m. Bay Path RVT will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Bay Path RVT put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They breezed by Essex Tech at home to the tune of 53-8. The victory was just what Bay Path RVT needed coming off of a 55-20 loss in their prior contest.
Bay Path RVT got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bradyn Downes out in front who punched in three rushing scores. Kaiden Brochu also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, with a playoff game on the line, Greater New Bedford RVT rose to the challenge on Thursday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 52-0 win over Montachusett RVT. The win was nothing new for Greater New Bedford RVT as they're now sitting on three straight.
Their wins bumped Bay Path RVT to 7-3 and Greater New Bedford RVT to 5-4.
Everything went Bay Path RVT's way against Greater New Bedford RVT when the teams last played back in November of 2022 as Bay Path RVT made off with a 47-21 win.
