Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plymouth). They put the hurt on the Berlin Indians with a sharp 19-5 victory on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won four matches in a row.

The team relied heavily on Oliver Picard, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Cole Kuhn was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Plymouth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .659. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Plymouth now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Berlin, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Plymouth and Berlin could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Panthers (ranked 182nd) will meet Manitowoc Lincoln (ranked sixth) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Berlin will take on Kettle Moraine Lutheran at 4:45 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (374 vs. 36).
