Volleyball Recap: Hays' Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hays entered their tilt with Sabetha on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bluejays.

While Hays won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18.

Ramiyah Turner paced Hays' offense, picking up eight kills. Turner got some help from Brooke Bieker and her 13 assists. Bieker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hays' victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Sabetha, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.

Coincidentally, Hays and Sabetha will both be playing Silver Lake the next time they take the court. The Bluejays will host the Eagles at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
