Lynwood was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to fourth in San Gabriel Valley. Earlier in the week, the Knights defeated Lancaster 33-14.
Paramount scaled the state rankings by moving to 219 from 297 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Pirates were able to move up by topping Woodrow Wilson 36-13.
Downey's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jorge Reyna threw for 184 and 3 touchdowns and Justin Huff had 48 yards receiving. On the ground Huff chipped in 132 yards. Tristan Esparza helped Downey's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 41 yards.
