Riverside is 8-2 against Ysleta since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rangers will look to defend their home field against the Indians at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
On Tuesday, Riverside made easy work of Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy and carried off an 18-8 victory. The Rangers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

Mandy Contreras was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 3-for-3. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Josalynn Hernandez, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.
Riverside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .588. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in seven consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ysleta, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Austin an 18-0 shutout on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
The team relied heavily on Savannah Jurado, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and five RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Cienna Hernandez, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Riverside's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-9. As for Ysleta, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Riverside hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .441. However, it's not like Ysleta struggles in that department as they've averaged .353. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Riverside got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Ysleta by a conclusive 12-2 score. Will the Rangers repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
