Rasean Jones had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 199 yards and five touchdowns on only 11 carries. Rocky Mountain also got a significant boost from Parker Kleinkopf, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 90 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Rocky Mountain was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 445 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive matches.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Rocky Mountain, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jones, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Centennial's offense. They were outmatched by Middleton and fell 44-0. The Patriots have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Rocky Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
Friday's contest might be decided in the trenches. Rocky Mountain has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 332.5 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Centennial, though, as they've been averaging only 68.2 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
