The Riverton Silverwolves will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the West Field Longhorns at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Riverton comes in on eight and West Field on three.
Riverton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Boise, who was ranked first in their home state at the time (Riverton was ranked first). The Silverwolves put the hurt on the Brave with a sharp 12-4 victory on Saturday. Considering the Silverwolves have won five matchups by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Riverton has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 12 hits per game. However, it's not like West Field struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
