They strolled past Weir with points to spare, taking the game 64-46. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wheeling Central Catholic also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Wheeling Central Catholic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaitlyn Blake out in front who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. That's the first time this season that Blake posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Fitzsimmons, who scored 25 points along with two steals.
Wheeling Central Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Weir, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
