The Jackson Aggies can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They breezed by Satsuma at home to the tune of 62-10. Winning may never get old, but Jackson sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Jackson had a senior duo take command as Tyra Caves scored 18 points along with two steals and Erica Walton scored nine points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Walton continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cynia Wright, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Jackson's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-2. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.21 points. As for Satsuma, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Jackson won't have much time to rest: their next match is against McIntosh at 6:00 p.m. on January 13th. McIntosh will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 337th, while Jackson is ranked 45th). As for Satsuma, they will head out on the road to square off against Escambia County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
