Softball Recap: Berkshire Wins Going Away Against Cardinal

Berkshire lost to Cardinal back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Badgers were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Huskies. The Badgers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by ten runs or more this season.

Berkshire is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cardinal, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Berkshire will challenge Geneva at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cardinal, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Kirtland at 5:00 p.m.
