The Greendale Panthers will face off against the Pewaukee Pirates at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Greendale will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against Pius XI Catholic on Monday. The Panthers blew past the Popes 14-1.

Ayla Krecklow made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abby Brinkman, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Makayla Lewitzke, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Pewaukee hadn't done well against New Berlin Eisenhower recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Pirates walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Lions. While the Pirates didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Samantha Brewster spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Hailey Hutchens was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Estella Levas was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
Pewaukee pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Greendale, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Greendale took their win against Pewaukee in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-4 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
