The Riverdale Ridge Ravens will venture away from home to square off against the Prairie View Thunderhawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Riverdale Ridge 3.8, Prairie View 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Riverdale Ridge proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by six) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Niwot 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Ravens have posted since March 11th.

The team relied heavily on Nick Williams, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three).
Meanwhile, Prairie View entered their tilt with Eaglecrest on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Raptors. The result was nothing new for the Thunderhawks, who have now won three matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Favi Gaeta made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Jerry Stone was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That stolen base was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Preston Miller, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
Prairie View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eaglecrest only posted a batting average of .087.
Riverdale Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. Prairie View's record now sits at 7-3.
