With a playoff win on the line, Cathedral Prep rose to the challenge on Sunday. They pulled ahead with a 46-45 photo finish over the Bishop Timon-St. Jude Tigers. Winning may never get old, but the Crusaders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Joey Insera and Jeson Huff certainly did their best on Sunday to avoid the loss. Insera almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 13 boards, while Huff went 7-for-15 to rack up 14 points. Insera is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last nine games he's played. Another player making a difference was Marquis Harris, who posted six points and seven assists.
Cathedral Prep's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Bishop Timon-St. Jude, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-17.
