Narrows will face off against Wythe in a playoff game on Friday. Narrows knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Wythe likes a good challenge.
The Green Waves earned some postseason bragging rights after a successful outing last week. They took their matchup against Grayson County by a conclusive 35-7 score. The margin was wide but not a surprise since the Green Waves are ranked far ahead of Grayson County in the MaxPreps rankings.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Wythe's strategy against McCluer last Friday. Wythe steamrolled past McCluer 63-21. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-7.
