Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland]'s defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cara Phillips, who scored 12 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Phillips has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Armstrong, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Sullivan is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland], they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-9.
Sullivan will head out on the road to take on Okaw Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
