The Coventry Comets will face off against the Northwest Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northwest took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Coventry, who comes in off a win.
On Monday, Coventry got the win against Ravenna by a conclusive 11-3. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Addisyn Hahn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. Those seven strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, Isabella Smith was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Scarlet Dineff, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Coventry kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ravenna only managed six.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Northwest was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell 5-2 to Dalton.
Northwest saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calle Singer, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
The victory made it two in a row for Coventry and bumps their season record up to 11-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
Coventry couldn't quite finish off Northwest when the teams last played back in May of 2024 and fell 4-2. Will the Comets have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
