Gallia Academy is 2-8 against Fairland since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Gallia Academy's 18-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 49-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Point Pleasant on Tuesday.
Fairland proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 32) but last Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Northridge 52-49. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Fairland has scored all season.
Gallia Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Fairland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Gallia Academy was taken down by Fairland 63-30 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Gallia Academy was down 40-17.
