Hefty is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Haylee Gallas, who scored two points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Belvidere North struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They are winless (0-3) when they just don't pass the ball.
Harlem pushed their record up to 10-12 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Belvidere North, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
Harlem's road trip will continue as they head out to face Rockford East at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Rockford East has now lost 14 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 17. As for Belvidere North, they will be playing at home against Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
