Last Saturday, Rehobeth beat Poplar Springs 62-49. Given Rehobeth's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 269th in Alabama, while Poplar Springs is ranked 682nd in Florida), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
In what's become a running theme this season, Eufaula gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Headland on the road to the tune of 78-22. The victory was nothing new for Eufaula as they're now sitting on five straight.
Rehobeth has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Eufaula, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Rehobeth took a serious blow against Eufaula in their previous matchup on January 2nd, falling 87-40. Can Rehobeth avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
