Despite their loss, Gunnison Valley saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Bryler Blackburn, who scored 4 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals, was perhaps the best of all. Autumn Anderson was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Maeser Prep Academy took a serious blow against Providence Hall on Tuesday, falling 55-20. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Maeser Prep Academy in their matchups with Providence Hall: they've now lost six in a row.
Gunnison Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Maeser Prep Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-3.
