The East Tartans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 73-32 loss at the hands of Green. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss East has suffered yet this season.
Abbie Knapp was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 45 points and ten rebounds for Green. That makes it four consecutive games in which Knapp has scored at least a third of Green's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matti Hayslip, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
East's loss was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-9. As for Green, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
East will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oak Hill comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last 11 games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Green, they will head out on the road to take on Huntington at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
