Southmoreland came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the South Park Eagles by a score of 66-58. The Scotties' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Southmoreland's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for South Park, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southmoreland will head out to face off against Ligonier Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Park, they are taking a road trip to challenge Shady Side Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Park knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Shady Side Academy likes a good challenge.
