The Abbeville Christian Academy Generals will challenge the Edgewood Academy Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Abbeville Christian Academy easily dispatched Sparta Academy last Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Abbeville Christian Academy fell just short of Fort Dale Academy by a score of 7-5 on Saturday. The Generals haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Edgewood Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Ezekiel Academy 12-2 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.
Colten Lashley was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

What's more, Smith posted two hits, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Garrett Myers was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.
Edgewood Academy pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
