Football Recap: Frontier Skates Past Murrieta Mesa with Ease

Frontier had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Murrieta Mesa Rams, posting a 39-7 victory. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 29 points or more this season.

Brady Campbell was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 183 yards and four touchdowns. What's more, he also racked up 135 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2023. Kobie Watson was another key player, picking up 46 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Frontier wouldn't let Murrieta Mesa keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Rj Green, Braxton Watkins, and Nsongbeh Ginyui picked up one apiece.

Despite the defeat, Murrieta Mesa saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Royal Randolph rushed for 91 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 43 receiving yards.

Frontier has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.5 points per game. As for Murrieta Mesa, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.

Frontier has already played their next match, an 18-14 win against Amador Valley on the 13th. Murrieta Mesa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
