After losing to James River Midlothian the last time they met, L.C. Bird decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The L.C. Bird Skyhawks were the clear victor by an 81-59 margin over the James River Midlothian Rapids on Friday. The Skyhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for L.C. Bird and bumps their season record up to 13-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points over those games. As for James River Midlothian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
