Mississippi School for the Deaf took down Arkansas School for the Deaf 76-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Keith Brignac ran for 250 yards in the win.
Tennessee School for the Deaf made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,062 from 1,122. The improvement was the result of 58-30 victory over the Vikings last week.
Tennessee School for the Deaf's Ethan Swafford and Rashard Witherspoon have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Mason-Dixon Deaf Football (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Swafford has thrown for 497 yards this season, while Witherspoon, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 22 catches for 310 yards. Brignac from the Bulldogs leads the league in rushing with 657 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Mississippi School for the Deaf and Georgia School for the Deaf. Daniel Gough's team enters the game ranked 14th in the state, while the Tigers ranks 16th.
