Metro Tech's loss came despite strong showings from Erick Morales and Angelo Reynosa. Morales scored eight points, while Reynosa scored six points along with six rebounds.
Metro Tech dropped their record down to 2-21 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for South Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.
Metro Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sierra Linda is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak. As for South Mountain, they will head out on the road to challenge the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McClintock presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Jaguars in Arizona (the Chargers are ranked 58th, while the Jaguars are ranked 264th).
