Kevin Meredith and Nathan Bisnett certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Meredith scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, while Bisnett scored 11 points along with three steals. Meredith scored a full 35.4% of Kettering's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jordan Jarrell was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Kettering has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Romeo, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kettering will take on Walled Lake Northern at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Romeo, they will head out on the road to face off against Grosse Pointe North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Grosse Pointe North's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
