Harmony Grove put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They steamrollered Horatio 41-0. The win was familiar territory for Harmony Grove, who now have five in a row.
As for Centerpoint, they won against Fouke two weeks ago with 14 points, and they decided to stick to that point total again. Centerpoint were able to grind out a solid victory over Genoa Central, winning 14-0. The success made it back-to-back wins for Centerpoint.
Their wins bumped Harmony Grove to 5-1 and Centerpoint to 4-2. In their win, Harmony Grove relied heavily on senior Shaun Lucas, who rushed for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns. Centerpoint will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
