The Lynn Bears will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Belgreen Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Alabama (Lynn is ranked 270th, while Belgreen is ranked 280th).
Lynn pushed their score all the way to 59 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 75-59 fall against Marion County. Lynn found out winning isn't easy when you make five fewer threes than your opponent.
Despite their loss, Lynn saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Braylen Roberts, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Roberts hasn't dropped below 18 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Kelly, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Belgreen had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 45-35 win over the Panthers. The win was nothing new for Belgreen as they're now sitting on six straight.
Lynn's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Belgreen, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-6.
