The Box Elder Bees will head out on the road to square off against the Clearfield Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Box Elder comes in on three and Clearfield on ten.
Box Elder is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over Bonneville on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Korver Smith and Maddox Earnest made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Smith tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Earnest tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Smith also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Box Elder is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 3-10 otherwise. At bat, Smith went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI, while Earnest went 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Bryson Wight was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Box Elder's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-11 when he doesn't). Korbin Jeppesen also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Box Elder kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.
Meanwhile, Clearfield made easy work of Northridge on Friday and carried off an 11-5 win.
Like Box Elder, Clearfield also got a great game from a two-way player: Brady Reynolds. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off only one hit. Reynolds has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, earning two runs and two stolen bases. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Clearfield let Brodie Deal and Ryan Frei run wild. Deal went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base, while Frei went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave Deal a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Marriott, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Box Elder's record is now 5-11. As for Clearfield, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Box Elder came up short against Clearfield in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, falling 7-2. Can the Bees avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
