Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-7 on Wednesday.
Azlyn Picard and Amelia Currier stepped up to the plate in a big way. Picard went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple, while Currier went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. Jules Luca was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.
As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
On Portsmouth Christian Academy's side, Zuri Petlick and Lexi Jordan made a splash while hitting and pitching.
